We'll explore the foundations and details of arm balances in the Ashtanga series. Including Crane, Tripod Headstand, Eka Pada Bhujasana, Eka Pada Galavasana (Flying Pigeon), Koundinyasana I & II, and Ashtavakrasana. Warm-up with Sun Salutations and a short closing sequence with Shavasana. Options will be given for all the work that we do. Lots of time for you to practice good technique and ask questions.

Led class (about 60 min) directly followed by a discussion of the topic listed (about 30 min). The led class will be suitable for new and experienced practitioners. Modifications are given for poses. The discussion allows us to go deeper into the practice of yoga in a way other than just asana. And we also get to know each other a little better through these sessions and build our yoga community.

Prenatal yoga focuses on breathing techniques and gentle stretching while helping to reduce stress and anxiety. These classes are designed to make you more flexible and prepare you for labor. Additionally prenatal yoga helps to increase the strength, flexibility and endurance of muscles needed for childbirth. Decreases lower back pain, nausea, headaches and shortness of breath.
